Earn Extra Cash

I got my Gas bill today for both here and the flat.
So that's the heating turned off for starters. I think i may have to build a small fire in the middle of the front room and gather wood for future heating. I can't be affording that on a regular basis!. Time to tighten my belt a little more and start looking for some extra dosh from Christmas.

I can't believe i agreed to do this but one of the women at work has called and is so impressed with my skills with a brush that she has asked me if i would be interested in painting her back bedroom for cash. I only just finished this fucking thing and I'm agreeing to do more of the same but for someone else. I can't decide whether this is a god send or a penance.

I suppose it's better than selling my arse on the streets. Or is it ?. I think i might enjoy that more than hard labour.

Daniel refuses to stay this weekend if he has to sleep on the sofa so i have to make up a camp bed in the spare room. Not for him, for me !. He wants my double bed. And to add insult to injury i have had a text message today that reads "unless i get breakfast in bed you can fuck off"
He'll get co co pops on his head if he's not careful

He's being difficult about it now, but once he's tasted the pleasures of Halifax, he'll be begging you for more opportunities to visit. Next time, you'll be able to demand breakfast in bed from him.

Gas bills are so crazy these days. I totally understand where you are coming from on that.
Be happy that you are getting extra work. I would be.

Just thought this morning, you can turn down radiators (or shut registers if the system is hot air) and close the doors to rooms you don't need to be using all the time. Only heat the space you'll be using. You'll want to keep everything above freezing, but that's enough. Unused space can be like a barn.

You can also lower the thermostat when you leave for work and put it up when you get home. You can even lower it when you go to bed, but that means waking up in a cold room. Maybe you'd want a timer thermostat, to turn the heat down when you leave for work and back up 1/2 hour before you get home, down at bedtime and up 1/2 hour before wake-up time.

You probably already knew that, but just in case you didn't.

Thanks for all your suggestion. Perhaps thermal underwear would be a good idea. Turn off all the radiator (good idea natugesetz) and perhaps find something warm to cuddle up to in bed ;-))
