Tit

Today it’s been raining constantly and the leaves (is it leaves or leafs ?) on the trees are finally giving way to gravity and splattering the pavements everywhere.
Twice this lunchtime I nearly ended up on my arse slipping on the fucking things. I remember some time ago having a similar incident. I thought i was gonna fall and instinctivly reached out to grap anything to stop myself.
Unfortunatly an old lady was waking past and i grabbed her left tit by accident.

My car was up for it’s MOT later this month so I decided to take it in and get it done a little early, just in case there happened to be something major needing fixing.

£ 349 later it’s past its MOT, had a service, new brake pads and various other bits and pieces stuck back together before they disintegrate.
All I need to do now is to tax it in December. All my holiday money is disappearing!.
Gas bill due next...

It's all planned, this weekend i'm gonna do something really weird. I'm going out and not drinking. Its firework night on Friday but i've been invited to a plot on Saturday.
Already i'm thinking of avoiding pubs.

Well I suppose paying £ 349 is better than having the vehicle quit on you out on the moors some dark and stormy night.

You'll be fine without the alcohol.

I went without a drop when I went on my eight day retreat, and I never missed it. In fact it was several days before I even thought about it to realize that I wasn't missing it.

It's 'leaves', also while we're at it, it's 'clothes' (shirts, jeans, socks, etc.) not 'cloths' (what you wipe the floor with) Sorry, Michael, it's the teacher in me. A teacher friend of mine was in the pub with some of her mates. One said 'I'm going to the loo' and she immediately replied 'OK, don't be long.'

I haven't been without a daily soaking of booze for a long time. Last year I had my liver and kidney functions tested, and they were fine. I had expected the relevant organs would be like lace doilies.

See that's why I don't have any ambitions to drive. Too much responsibility.

There is nothing worse than that moment of panic when you think you are going to fall, only to invariably make it worse by trying to stop it.

well, it's better paying the upkeep than paying the monthly payments to buy one. With cars it is always something.. if you want to keep them working properly and safe. Maybe Daniel can go out with you. He would probably lead you down to devils path as far a alcohol goes, might be fun ;-) He does need that 50!!

Wow, running a car is expensive ! I don't have one, so I forgot the MOT thinking. And road tax, gees.

You poor holiday saving! Such a shame!

Well I was there in Manchester England, England on Tues, Wed, and on Tues did it rain and a half. Kind of reminded me of Glasgow. I guess it's an east coast thing?
