Cut

I caught the bus to work this morning for a change. Gotta save a bit of petrol i suppose it cost a bloody fortune now. In America it was about 2p and gallon. Over here is £100 a thimble full.

Whilst standing at the bus stop an old old bloke stood next to me smoking a pipe. No one smokes pipes nowadays do they ? It’s a dieing art (literally in some cases). You don’t get many 15 year olds standing on street corners lighting one up because it’s associated with being old I suppose. A bit like thermal underwear and slippers.

Daniel sent me another email recommending a new hair care product. I assume his email address has been hacked again. What sites has he been looking at?. It's always happening to him. I think he just clicks anything that pops up.
Note to self, never let him use my computer.

I cut my finger on some paper today at work, it was agony. They say that there is no worse pain than a paper cut. Someone else in the office suggested that toothache is worse and another said that back pain beats both.
Personally I think a red hot poker up your arse would trump all three. But it did bloody hurt. How can such a tiny little nick cause so much pain?.

My dad (born1909) never wanted to travel, but finally my mom born 1911) cajoled him into a trip to Italy, cruising over and back oon the Italian Line and traveling Italy from Naples to Genoa, including Rome, Florence, and I don't know what-all else. One day toward the end of the land portion, as they were riding in the bus (I mean "motorcoach") my mom overheard one passenger say to her seatmate, "There has been the most wonderful aroma all over Italy," and the seatmate replied, "That's [Naturgesetz's dad's] pipe."

Pipe tobacco is way cheaper than cigars and it smells better to the bystanders; but I find it's a lot of work keeping the pipe lit, and to the smoker it doesn't taste nearly as good as cigars.

A little bit of pipe smoke smell wafting by is ok and can be nice. The same goes for Cigarettes. But too much is sickly and stops me from breathing.
I must admit, everyone i have ever seen smoking a pipe seems to spend more time re lighting it than they do smoking.

Ya know, paper cuts are the worst thing ever, I broke my back a few years ago in a bike accident, that was nothing compared to the pain of a paper cut.

As you said, you don't see very many pipes being smoked today. My grandfather was a cigar smoker. He told me he smoked as many as 15 per day!! El Producto cigars is what he smoked. We bought one of his vehicles and when we sprayed the ceiling with cleaner you could not believe the nicotine on the rags.

I agree paper cuts, are a pain even though they are usually small. Somehow I think you will survive!!

One thing about paper cuts is that although they hurt like the dickens, the pain subsides quicker than with some of the worse injuries.
