*** Here in Halifax we don't have Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. We have Brekkie, Dinner, Tea, and (if you are a greedy pig) Supper.
I've been to my parents for tea, so this means i've eaten dinner with them, rather than just a drink of tea (although i did have a brew as well) and Chips are a British version of French Fries. Big Fat French fries that need about three gallons of Tomato Sauce splattered all over to make them taste good.
What do you mean what is Tomato Sauce ?.

Is tomato sauce what we Yanks call ketchup (also spelled catsup, but still pronounced ketchup, LOL)?
I'm guessing it is. Wiki says that ketchup is a condiment, whereas tomato sauce, as the term is used Stateside, refers to an ingredient in a dish (often a pasta dish). Hunt's describes their tinned tomato sauce this way. "Hunt's Tomato Sauce is made from all-natural, vine-ripened tomatoes, with salt, spices, and natural flavors for seasoning and contains no added sugar, corn syrup, or other sweeteners." By contrast, Heinz's tomato ketchup contains distilled vinegar, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup, and sugar in addition to thetomatoes and the other flavo(u)rings.
