Member me ?

Not back to blogging properly but i'm bored tonight and thought i would tickle the keyboard for a bit.

A little potted recap of the happenings since i last posted something....

I'm feeling a bit better now than i did at the time of my last post. My mum is still struggling to cope with living on her own, but life goes on i suppose.
Daniel is just the same. He just split up with someone for stealing some cash out of his wallet whilst staying at his place for the night. I never liked him anyway, i could tell he was a dead leg.
I've got a new job after walking out on my last one (don't ask)
Luckily i still live in the same house that i did after scaring the pants off myself wondering where i was gonna get the money from to pay my mortgage. Note to self -: find a new job before you end your old one next time.
I'm still single but i'm hitting the town less and less lately so that doesn't help does it?.  Is this what happens when you get older ?. The same thing seems to be happening to my mates as well. We used to be out every weekend.

People are getting married and settling down all around me. Then they have kids and that's that, they disappear into their own little world and unless i visit them we lose contact completely.
My sex life is lagging and i've taken to gaydar for too much over the past few weeks just to keep my hand in. But it's the same old story. I'm bored when i'm on my own, but when i find someone they start to smother me and i want to be on my own again.
I do want a partner, i don't want a partner. Make your bloody mind up Mate!.

Anyway if anyone is still out there. Hope you are well and everything is ok with you. Now how about an obligatory picture of a half naked man for us all to enjoy together ?
Plonkers out lads..

Ball bag or sock stuffing ?. You decide

Great to hear from you again!

When you quit your job, I jumped to the conclusion that it was so move back to Oldham to give your mum some emotional support. But it seems not, if you're still in the house in Halifax. I'm glad you're doing okay.

I think the "need" to go out every Friday and Saturday does diminish as one matures. How much may have to do — to some extent — with one's personality.

It's probably worthwhile to keep in contact with the married friends with kids. You may not be as close as you once were, but it's good to have them as a presence in your life. It's something I don't have to any significant extent, but I think it would be good if I did.

You are so lucky to have a good mate like Daniel. At least he won't get married and have kids. LOL

Michael,
Great to hear from you. I have never had a partner so no advise there... Seems like things are the same with Daniel ;-).. I feel for your Mom but I lost my Mom first and having a lonely Dad (who couldn't take care of himself without his wife) I think is worse. Time heals all. OK, more news soon..

gosh, I thought that would be the last the blogging world saw of you. But am glad you came back for an update, it's so nice to hear that life does indeed go on and that you are well.

You know some of those that visited here on a regular basis in the past, do sometimes think of you.

Good luck my dear boy.

Welcome back to the land of the blogging. Thought we'd lost you. In contrast to the beautiful hunks you post, here is porn guaranteed to turn you OFF.

So good to have you back. Very sorry for the reason you needed the respite.
Losing someone you love is going to happen in our lives but if you don't love, what have you got.
For an American your way of writing and British slang were so much fun to read. Particularly enjoyed your uninhibited view of America on your Florida vacation. Yours was one of my favorite blogs and you are on my short list of bloggers it would be really be nice to know. Looking forward to knowing Mambam again.
